'Yes, dear, it's quite a nice plant for a present or anything of that kind.'

'She's cleaned and scraped two or three good wild-plant places right out…just stoops to anything.'

'Sakes alive! -- as if you wa'n't cram-full now with all there is ashore;' she had interpolations of her own to interject.

 'I have learned so much, beside, of her wisdom and patience and unselfish thoughtfulness.'
