Walter Scott
14/08/1771 - 20/09/1832Walter Scott was a Scottish historical novelist, poet, playwright, and historian. He is best known for his works such as 'Ivanhoe', 'Rob Roy', 'The Lady of the Lake', 'Waverley', 'The Heart of Midlothian' and 'The Bride of Lammermoor'.
