Edgar Lee Masters
22/08/1868 - 04/03/1950Edgar Lee Masters was an American poet, biographer, and dramatist. He is best known for his 'Spoon River Anthology', in which former residents of a fictional rural town speak touchingly from the grave of the thwarted hopes and dreams of their lives.
