Edward Lear
11/05/1812 - 28/01/1888Edward Lear was an English artist, illustrator, musician, author and poet, renowned primarily for his literary nonsense in poetry and prose. He is known mostly for his limericks, a form he popularised, and for his nonsensical poetry.
