By accessing and using kanah.app ("the Service"), you agree to the following terms.

1. Overview

kanah.app is a platform that allows users to read, listen to, upload, and share ebooks, audiobooks, short stories, and summaries. The service is available on the web and via iOS/Android mobile apps.

2. Content Ownership

You retain full copyright and ownership of any original content you upload to the Service.

By uploading content, you grant kanah.app a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable license to:

  • Display and distribute your content to users of the platform
  • Promote your content on and off platform (e.g., in listings or social media previews)

You may delete your content at any time, which terminates our license to distribute it (except in cached or archived systems as reasonably necessary).

kanah.app does not claim ownership of your work and will never sell or sublicense it to third parties outside of its distribution platform without your explicit permission.

3. Your Responsibilities

By uploading content, you affirm:

  • You own the rights to the material or have the right to distribute it
  • The content does not violate any laws or third-party rights

You are responsible for the legality and originality of your uploads.

4. Sales and Revenue

If you choose to sell ebooks or audiobooks, you may set your own prices. The platform will deduct a sales fee as outlined in your sales dashboard and provide the net earnings. You can withdraw your earnings at any time, subject to minimum thresholds or payout timelines.

Short stories and summaries are offered free to readers and cannot currently be monetized.

5. Account and Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Platform Use

You may not:

  • Upload content that infringes on others’ intellectual property rights
  • Use the Service for any illegal, abusive, or deceptive purposes
  • Attempt to interfere with the platform’s operation

7. Suggestions and Feedback

Any feedback or feature suggestions you provide may be used by kanah.app without obligation. However, this does not apply to the creative content (books, stories, audio) you upload — which you retain ownership of.

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we will notify users via the platform. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.
