Corrie ten Boom

14/04/1892 - 14/04/1983Corrie ten Boom was a Dutch watchmaker and a Christian humanitarian. She is best known for her work during World War II, when she and her family helped many Jews escape the Nazi Holocaust. After the war, she wrote several books about her experiences, most notably 'The Hiding Place'.
