Ernst Jünger

28/03/1895 - 16/02/1998Ernst Jünger was a highly decorated German soldier and author. He became famous for his World War I memoir 'Storm of Steel'. The renowned author was also known for his novels including 'On the Marble Cliffs' which was widely interpreted as a critique of the Hitler regime. He remains a controversial figure for his glorification of war in his works.
